VIRTUAL ACADEMY
In addition to Code Clock's 'In-person' workshops, we are also delighted to offer a range of online workshops entitled 'Virtual Academy' covering a wide range of digital technologies:
- Programming- C#, Python, Gamemaker, Roblox Studio
- Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, Access
- Google Suite- Drive, Sheets.
- Adobe Photoshop
The workshops are bookable at least two months in advance with spaces strictly limited. All our online workshops are delivered by suitably qualified expert instructors with a minimum of 10+ years experience teaching experience.
Programming in Python
This workshop will introduce students to the Python programming language using IDLE, Python's development IDE.
Using IDLE, students will learn key skills and concepts including data types, functions, string manipulation, condition and flow control statements, lists and classes.
Over the course of 10 weeks, students will learn fundamentals of the programming language including:
- Basic Input/output
- Data types/variables
- Selection
- Loops
- Functions
- Reading/Writing to files
- Object Classes
